I’ve been off work for almost five years. I’ve been a stay at home mommy.
Today I had a job interview and I felt so nervous, but only after it was over. Who’s going to hire someone who hasn’t worked for five years and doesn’t have any degrees? I wish I were more self-confident.
In other news, I’m almost done all my Christmas knitting! Three pairs of mittens, a neck-warmer, a scarf and I’m almost done a sweater for Deja. Not for Christmas, but her birthday. I thought it would take a lot longer than it has.
My next knitting project will probably be the amelia earheart aviator cap. A girl brought the pattern into my knitting group and reminded me it was on my to-knit list.
