So I finished it and it’s not perfect. I redid it 3 times! I think I knit it too long before I started decreasing and that is why I have that weird bumpy part at the top of my head.I also think it would look nicer if I doubled the rows of garter stitch around the edge.
BUT. I love the shape of it. The way it frames my face and the way it kind of looks like a hat a flapper from the 20’s would wear.
See? Weird bumpy part at the back a little, too. I didn’t sew in the ends yet, so I’ll just rip back (one LAST time) and do the decreases sooner. I’m not redoing the garter stitch, but I’ll make a note of it for next time.
