Sweet little Sweater

I’m making a cute little sweater for Deja again. It’s her birthday on the 8th and my little girl will be 3! She posed so happily for pictures today. The only thing is that it’s so hard to get her to hold still enough! So she’s a little blurry.

It’s the pattern Rolly by aoibheg. I’m using two different yarns I bought at Walmart in those bulk bags they have.  A pink and blue twist and a glossy white. Both acrylic, of course.

I finished a big chunk of it while watching movies saturday night. I did change the hem to a picot edge instead of putting the coloured yarn at the bottom. The only thing is it curls up a bit. And I can’t block it because it’s acrylic yarn.

This is why I want to knit up all the yarn I already have so I can get the good stuff. Natural fibers! I’ll say, oh darn, I’m completely out of yarn honey! I need to go shopping!

Now that is very cute. I also substitute one wool for another [not always with such successful results as your's mind you!] Wish we had a handy Walmart but I make do with Beverley’s.
Cheers

Any finished knitted garment looks amazing to me, but what is really amazing is the color of your girl’s hair! I spent a whole lifetime wishing, trying (and failing) to have just that beautiful color! Belated happy birthday!

Thank you! I wish my hair was that colour, too. I used to dye it, but you just can’t get that colour in a box.
Both her grandmas are redheads, so that’s how she got that lovely hair.
