It was a really fun knit. I like the points at the bottom, but I think this style of hat will look better on the kids than on me. So no picture of it on me this time.  I really like the way the stripes in the yarn came out so I am going to frog it and make another hat with only 2 points and no pointy top.  Then I’m going to make an elvish hat for one or both of the kids.

Pink adult elvish hat

This is Patons classic wool that I got at Michaels. I’m going to knit and crochet through the majority of my stash and then buy some really fancy wool at an LYS one day. Can’t afford any really nice stuff yet, so almost everything I’m making these days is acrylic. Only the softest acrylic I could find, though.  I only have a little bit of actual wool, and loads of cotton in the stash right now. I really appreciate natural fibers these days.
