The flap stays in place with velcro and while I generally don’t like velcro, it really works on a messenger bag because you do not want your stuff flying out of there. I don’t know about you, but I’m rougher with a messenger bag than I would be with a purse or handbag.

There are two big pockets on the outside under the flap and several on the inside of the bag, too. I forgot to measure the strap length before I took it to the shop to sell, but it seems to be the perfect length for me. The strap is extra wide so it’s super comfortable, even if you have a bunch of heavy stuff in there.

It’s still a little too big for her, but she insisted on wearing it today. It has two snaps in the back so you can lay it flat to iron it, if needed.
