Finished the morning before his birthday when it turned out I didn’t have to work that day. Again, a little too big. I made the 4-6 size and he just turned 5. So next winter he’ll wear it, I guess.
I still need buttons but he wants to pick them out. We’ll do that a little later. I used Caron simply soft and used less than two skeins. The dark green looks really nice on him. He chose it over blue when I gave him a choice.
This pattern is called childs-placket-neck-pullover from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts. I think it’s only a last minute gift if you”re making an infant size, though. I really like the seed stitch at the cuffs and hem and neck.
